Cavs news: Cleveland waives guard London Perrantes
After being swept in the NBA Finals by the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ offseason is officially underway. Many are expecting the Cavs to have a complete overhaul of the roster regardless of whether or not LeBron James decides to stay home and play in Cleveland. They’ll re-tool around the eighth overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, or they’ll bring back James and try to get better players around him for another run at a championship.
On Tuesday afternoon, The Vertical’s Shams Charania reported that the Cavs had parted ways with two-way guard London Perrantes.

Perrantes played sparingly this season, totaling just seven points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 66 minutes of action.
Perrantes did appear in 35 games this season with the Canton Charge, Cleveland’s G-League affiliate, averaging 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
