Earlier this week, the Cleveland Cavs made the huge splash move of signing All-Star guard Dwyane Wade to a one-year, $2.3 million deal, and NBA 2K18 took notice.

With an entire healthy lineup, the Cavaliers could potential field a lineup with four All-Star players with Wade, LeBron James, Isaiah Thomas, and Kevin Love. They will also have a much deeper bench with offseason addition Derrick Rose leading the way for the second unit alongside J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Kyle Korver, and Jeff Green.
Cleveland may no longer have the services of All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving, but they have made a concerted effort over the summer to supplement the team with more proven talent. Wade has a chance to pick up an important role as a reliable scoring option that can help offset the heavy offensive load that James possesses.
If things are to pan out in the manner that is expected this upcoming season, it could set the table for a fourth straight NBA Finals rematch against the Golden State Warriors to where the Cavaliers could knot up the overall series. What this highlights more than anything is that this should be another entertaining campaign in Cleveland.
