The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking unstoppable as of the moment. While they recently saw the end of their 13-game win streak with a loss to the Indiana Pacers last Friday, that seemed more like just a minor stain in their 20-8 record so far this season than anything else.

In fact, the Cavs are back to winning ways again, bagging two-straight victories following that setback, as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday and the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

Apart from a two-game unbeaten run, the Cavs are maintaining another streak — a hotter one — as they stitched together their 17th-straight game of at least 10 3-pointers made, when they went berserk from deep in their 123-114 home win over the Hawks.

Kyle Korver did what he always does best against the Hawks, draining six triples, while Kevin Love and Jose Calderon each sank four 3-pointers. LeBron James and Jae Crowder also joined the long-bomb party with two treys apiece. J.R. Smith and Cedi Osman, meanwhile, combined for two threes. All told, the Cavs were 20-of-38 from beyond the arc

The Cavs are second in the NBA in 3-pointers made per game with 12.3 on 37.7 shooting percentage.

Cleveland could make it 18 in a row of 10-plus triples, when it plays host to the Los Angeles Lakers this coming Thursday. The Lakers’ defense, however, poses a bigger threat to the Cavs’ outside game than the Hawks’, as Lonzo Ball and company are keeping opponents to only 33.8 percent 3-point shooting this season.
