The Cleveland Cavaliers head to Miami to take on the Heat in another big game as the season winds down. This will be the first time that the Cavs will play the Heat since they traded Dwyane Wade back to the team where he started his career.

The Cavs have had a lot of success all across the league the last few years, but one place they haven’t had any success is in Miami and that has been the case for the last eight years, as pointed out by Reddit user MainMendoza.

They have lost 13 straight road games on the Heat’s home floor with the last win coming on January 25, 2010  a game they came out ahead 92-91.

LeBron James led the way putting up 32 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Shaquille O’Neal also added 19 points and six rebounds. For the Heat, they were led by Wade who put up 32 points and ten rebounds.

In terms of this year’s game, it’s a huge contest for both teams with serious playoff implications. The Heat currently sit in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings but are only a half-game back of the Milwaukee Bucks who occupy the seventh spot. For the Cavs, they are currently sitting in the third spot but are only a game ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers who hold the fourth place.

The Cavs have won the first two games against the Heat this season, but both of those games were at home, and they are going to have their hands full in this game.
