The Cleveland Cavaliers are headed to the first round of the playoffs with home-court advantage. They will be battling the New York Knicks in what should be an epic first-round series between two teams that are looking to make their mark this season. The Cavs still have a couple of regular-season games remaining before they head on to the playoffs, though, including a Thursday night matchup against the Orlando Magic. Unsurprisingly Cleveland has listed their stars on the injury report for Thursday’s game, which is why at this point, the fans want to know: Are Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland playing tonight vs. the Magic?

Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland injury status vs. Magic

Unfortunately for Cavs fans who were hoping to see a star-studded contest on Thursday, the bad news is that both Mitchell and Garland won’t be available against Orlando. This is after the Cavs officially ruled out their two stars due to respective injuries.

Mitchell is dealing with a left hand finger injury, while Garland won’t play because of a lower left leg contusion. Neither of the injuries sounds serious, which means that Cleveland is likely just giving their two stars a night off.

Mitchell and Garland aren’t the only players who will be sidelined against the Magic, though. Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Isaac Okoro, Caris LeVert, and Dylan Windler have all been ruled out as well, leaving the Cavs with an extremely shorthanded lineup against Orlando.

Now, with regard to the question Are Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland playing tonight vs. the Magic, the answer is no.
