After coming out on top of Sports Illustrated’s Top 100 NBA rankings, LeBron James has now been hailed as the second fittest athlete in the world by the same media giant. The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar finished behind soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on the list of the 50 fittest male athletes.

Here’s what SI had to say about the LeBron James’ fitness:

What is there to say about LeBron that hasn’t already been said? You know you’re the King of Workout Videos when Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving imitate your gym dances at a wedding. Some highlights from his repertoire: running up and down the court non-stop and dunking each time (total of nine dunks), and balancing on his knees on a ball with a Bodyblade-like stick in his hand. Strive for greatness, indeed.

The Cavs’ forward may be one of the most physically-gifted athletes of all-time, but he still works incredibly hard in order to keep his body in tip-top shape, especially as he gets older.

This summer has been no different, with the 32-year-old working out to the point of obsession. He’s been meeting up with friends Dwyane Wade and Kevin Love for some joint workouts. He’ll even crash a high school unannounced just to put some work in despite his busy schedule.

It seems like a tough life to be constantly working out, and it probably is. But it’s the price that has to be paid to be the best and the fittest, and even in his advancing age, LeBron James still is the best and the fittest in the NBA because of all the work he puts in.
