The Cleveland Cavaliers took down the Sacramento Kings for their second consecutive home win on Monday night. The Cavs used a big fourth quarter run to defeat the Pelicans on Saturday night. This game was a vast difference.

The Cavs used a big first half against the Kings, taking a 61-45 lead at the half and continuing to pour it on in the third quarter. DeMarcus Cousins got into foul trouble early in the first quarter, and Timofey Mozgov did a great job locking him down the rest of the game.

The Cavs bench got to see a lot of playing time in the fourth quarter while also holding up the lead with the Kings only outscoring the Cavs 30-29 in the fourth.

LeBron James earned his first career triple double tonight with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Kyrie Irving led the way in scoring and assists however, with 32 points and 10 assists. J.R. Smith continued his excellent shooting, knocking down six three pointers and finishing with 22 points.

The Cavs next game will be against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. IT will be Bryant’s final game in Cleveland and it will also be the last time Cleveland gets to see these two all-time greates face off head to head (although they will play again next month).
