Thanks to the fine designers at Nike, teams all across the NBA landscape will have a series of flashy new uniforms to wear at the start of the 2017-18 NBA season.

According to an official report from NBA.com, rather than traditional “home whites” and “away” jerseys, each organization will have four primary color schemes to choose from on a game-by-game basis.

“The ‘Association Edition’ will be the team’s traditional white uniform, while what was formerly the road uniform will now be designated as the ‘Icon Edition.’ The two remaining editions will be revealed later this fall.

“Along with those four uniform editions, eight teams will have a ‘Classic Edition’ available this fall, a nod to these team’s most iconic looks, which they can also choose to occasionally wear.”

The new uniforms, which are scheduled to be launched this Fall, are made of a combination of Alpha Yarns and recycled polyester materials. And according to Nike’s official website, each kit represents approximately 20 recycled PET bottles.

So, what might fans of the Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers expect to see from their team’s new jerseys? As most fans of the team know, the Cavs have agreed to a sponsorship deal with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. As a result, Goodyear’s famous “winged foot” logo will be sewn on the front-left portion of their shirts.

On Wednesday, the Cavs sent out this sneak-peek image of their new uniforms.
