Apparently Old School is back in this winter.  A Tribe Called Quest has the number one album in the country, Los Angeles has a football team, and there’s a Full House reboot on Netflix.  The Cleveland Cavaliers also are participating in this throwback tradition, as they unveiled their hardwood classic uniforms this past Tuesday.

Based off the classic 1980’s uniforms, Cleveland will rock the Gund family colors for six different nights this season.  Rocking the full orange with blue outlines, Cleveland looks to take fans back to the Mid 80’s when Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Ron Harper and Hot Rod Williams were all starting to make the iconic mid to late 80’s basketball powerhouse Cleveland was.  According to the Cavs organization, fans are encouraged to dress #ALLinORANGE to reflect the Cavs players on the court.

Cleveland will rock these throwback uniforms six times throughout the season:

Friday, December 9th vs. Miami Heat

Saturday, December 10th vs. Charlotte Hornets

Wednesday, January 4th vs. Chicago Bulls

Sunday, January 29th vs. Oklahoma City

Tuesday, March 14th vs. Detroit

Friday, March 31st vs. Philadelphia 76ers

And for fans looking to own an Orange retro jersey, they go on sale Friday November 25th both at the Cavs team shop in The Quicken Loans Arena and online at Cavs.com/Shop.  What is your favorite throwback Cavs moment?  Let us know in the comments below.
