It has been a few days since the Cleveland Cavaliers were able to officially sign All-Star guard Dwyane Wade to a one-year, $2.3 million deal.
According to Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal, this is a reunion that both Wade and LeBron James can’t believe happened with the Cavaliers.

There was always the possibility that this could happen down the line, but things hadn’t shaped up in that manner to present that scenario over the last couple of years. This turned out to be a perfect opportunity for Wade to reunite with his close friend while remaining a huge piece of the puzzle for a championship-contending team.
The two had maintained a close bond over the last few seasons since LeBron James departed from the Miami Heat back to the Cavaliers. This is something that not many had envisioned would happen given how the cap situation with Cleveland has been over the last few years, but Dwyane Wade’s willingness to play on a huge discount deal made it all happen.
The pieces just simply fell in place for the two to get the chance to play together once again while competing for another NBA title.
