BREAKING: Cavs Second Round Schedule Released

The Cleveland Cavaliers swept their first round series against the Detroit Pistons and advanced to the second round, but their opponent is still up in the air. We do know that it will be either the Atlanta Hawks or the Boston Celtics, who are tied at 2-2 with Game 5 on Tuesday night and Game 6 on Thursday night.

On Tuesday the NBA released the second round schedule for the Cavs and Hawks/Celtics starting Monday, May 2.

There won’t be a single pair of off days in this series with the teams playing every other day until a Game 7, if necessary.

Game 1 – ATL/BOS @ CLE, Monday, May 2 7:00 PM EST on TNT
Game 2 – ATL/BOS @ CLE, Wednesday, May 4 8:00 PM EST on TNT
Game 3 – CLE @ ATL/BOS, Friday, May 6 7:00 PM EST on ESPN
Game 4 – CLE @ ATL/BOS, Sunday, May 8 3:30 PM EST on ABC
Game 5 – ATL/BOS @ CLE, Tuesday, May 10 TBD on TNT*
Game 6 – CLE @ ATL/BOS, Thursday, May 12 TBD on ESPN*
Game 7 – ATL/BOS @ CLE, Sunday, May 15 TBD on TBD*

The Cavs won the all three games against the Atlanta Hawks this season, averaging 109.3 points and 23.7 assists per game while shooting 45% from the field and 32% from downtown. The Cavs went 2-1 against the Celtics in the regular season while averaging 104 points and 21.7 assists and shooting 46.6% from the field and 31.3% from downtown.
