Area 3: Score More!

LeBron James has a career average of 27 points per game in his 12 year career to date. For a regular NBA player they would be ecstatic to have an average this high. 27 points per game gets you to All-Star player status in this league. However, he is the best player on the planet and could go down as the greatest period when it is all said and done. There have been some games when LeBron has completely gone off and took the team on his back. If he wanted to he could easily score 35-40 points per game. We saw it in the 2015 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors when he scored 36 points per game. It remains to be seen if he will ever go into 2005-2006 Kobe Bryant mode and average 35 points per game. That would be a sight to see. LeBron is still head and shoulders over the rest of the players in the NBA and he will remain there even with these minor weaknesses. Look for The King to improve his game even more next year and win his fifth NBA Most Valuable Player Award.
