Cleveland Cavaliers superstar small forward LeBron James has been named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people for 2017.

As most basketball fans know, “The King,” as James is often referred to as, has been involved in several off-the-court endeavors over the course of his illustrious 14-year NBA career. Whether it’s assisting the kids of Akron through school with The LeBron James Family Foundation, debuting new music on his social media accounts, or making new television game shows, James has indeed established himself as one of the most influential people in the sports and entertainment industries.

When asked for a few words about winning the prestigious award, James gave a surprised but honest reply, via Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal:

“What happened?” James asked.

After being told of his accomplishment, he continued:

“That’s pretty cool, I think, I don’t know,” James said with a smile after today’s shootaround. “If my kids like it, then that’s all that matters. If they don’t care about it, then I don’t care about it. It’s all about them.”

Time Magazine named James to their “Titans” category. Previous Titans include Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com, Janet Yellen, and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
