Colin Cowherd is undoubtedly a LeBron James believer. He has not been shy to speak highly of The King in the past and has recently done the same again.

On his podcast on Fox Radio, The Herd, the 53-year-old sports media personality sent a message to all the haters of James letting them know of what he believes will be inevitable. According to Cowherd, it’s only a matter of time when he will take over Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all-time. He also came to the defense of the former four-time MVP about sitting games this season and also made a bold claim that the Cavs will win the championship once again this coming June.

While his controversial statement may not sit well with a lot of fans, especially Jordan’s, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward is making it difficult to contest it as he is strengthening his legacy even more. His excellence on both ends of the floor has been as good as ever and he’s not showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Although the main difference is the number of championships they have won, James still has a chance to catch up with the six the Chicago Bulls great won in his career. They have both won almost all awards the NBA has to offer and are widely considered two of the best players ever.

Should James ever catch up to all the accolades Jordan received in his stellar career is anyone’s guess at this point, but one thing that can be expected is James will continue to play at his best and will be a force in the league until he decides to hang his sneakers for good.
