Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James needs to get a grip on himself. Or maybe he doesn’t? The Cavs forward was going crazy on a video posted by UNINTERRUPTED as he announces just how ecstatic and proud he is of his high school alma mater.

“I have no idea how excited I am right now. I got to give a special shoutout to my alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary High School men’s basketball team for winning another state championship today. That is number eight. That is Ohio high school record. Number eight state championship.”

Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary High School won their eighth state championship — a record — besting Trotwood 60-51 in Columbus, Ohio. As such, James was on a high and even exclaimed how he wishes that he was with the team for that moment.

“I’m mad that I can’t even be there. I’m in New York City right now, preparing for Brooklyn tomorrow. Man, I wish I was in Columbus today.”

The Cavs are currently in Brooklyn as they prepare to face the Nets and hit two birds with one stone — notching a victory and making their draft lottery fate look better.

That is one proud alumnus. But the school has to be much more proud of what one of their own has accomplished in life. James was already a rock star in high school, but he took that status to astronomical heights in the NBA with his countless of accomplishments and a legitimate stature as one of the best basketball players to have ever played the sport.
