In the first few games of the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, All-Star guard Dwyane Wade has notably struggled offensively.

With that in mind, head coach Tyronn Lue has addressed the situation concerning Wade as he revealed that the team has yet to find him a consistent role, according to Nikki Goel of ClutchPoints.

Dwyane Wade has struggled to find his footing yet within the offense, averaging just 5.7 points on a meager 28.0 percent shooting with 3.3 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per contest. In fact, he has yet to crack double figures in any of the first three games of the season.

What has also contributed to the 35-year-old’s struggles offensively is his significantly-decreased playing time which is well become his career average of 35.3 minutes through his first 14 seasons. In fact, it’s more than six minutes less than what he played with last year with the Chicago Bulls.

This has become a bigger issue for the Cavs to fit him in within the offense especially with his struggling outside shooting as he’s hitting 28.7 percent from beyond the arc. Dwyane Wade has been most effective slashing toward the basket and working off the ball.

All of these has contributed greatly to him taking a significant step back in his offensive production through his first few games. With Tyronn Lue addressing the situation, there should be a point of emphasis to get Wade more acclimated within the Cavs’ offense moving forward.
