As the start of the 2017-18 season draws near, most NBA players are in the gym preparing for the upcoming grind. Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is no different. In fact, James has been honing his physique all summer long, as he always does.
On Monday, James joined his teammate, Kevin Love, for a workout session at UCLA’s campus. The King, who seemed to be feeling a bit cheeky, posted a short video of their time spent together for his followers on social media.
(camera pans to Love) “Yo, I appreciate you allowing me to use your facilities all summer,” James said in his video post. “I really do.”
The second portion of James’ video is even funnier than the first. As the two hoopers made their way through the campus grounds, James suggested that he was an incoming freshman who was receiving a tour from Love, a former Pac-10 Player of the Year award winner with the Bruins.
“Incoming freshman,” James said with a smile. “I’m here shadowing the upperclassman (Love). He’s showing me around campus right now.”
While both James and Love take their conditioning extremely serious, it’s nice to see them having a good time while doing so.
