While his father, Cleveland Cavs’ star LeBron James, is in Miami presumably to workout and vacation, LeBron James Jr. participated in a Pro-Am tournament together with Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside.

Just like his father and Cavaliers forward, he proved that he is also a good passer, and made an off-the-board dime look easy to complete. The younger James led a fast-break before bouncing the ball off the backboard, which Whiteside was the recipient of, as he caught it in mid-air before slamming it in.

The King then took to his Twitter to thank the Miami Pro-Am organizers for accommodating his son, and making sure that he is taken cared of. He also gave a special shoutout to the 7-foot center, for catching the passes given to him by LeBron Jr.

Although he is only 12-years-old, Bronny, as the former four-time NBA MVP is already being recruited by some of the biggest universities, to play for their basketball teams in the NCAA. He has proven in the past that he is also a very talented and player, and has the potential to step out of the shadow of his very famous father. The recent pro-am event may only be the start for the young prospect, as it can be expected that he’ll participate in more in the future, especially with the older James preparing him to become a professional someday.
