LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers doesn’t need any motivation to put up big numbers and win games and championships. But perhaps FS1 personality Shannon Sharpe has something to do with his recent uptick in general amazingness.
James and Sharpe recently took a photo together outside of a building — possibly the headquarters of Sharpe’s show “Undisputed” — as a show of their relationship. It’s actually quite a nice photo as photos of super-famous people go.
Since that photo, James has been absolutely unconscious when he’s taken the court, averaging 34 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists since the photo, per the official Twitter account of “Undisputed.”
In the last five games, James has had triple-doubles in three of them. It can be assumed that the photo in question was taken sometime just before those five games.
So what is about the photo that has caused James to magically become a triple-double machine? Was it Sharpe? Or perhaps the devil “rock on” horns James is flashing in the photo? Or maybe it’s the last two numbers of the building’s address. The numbers 1 and 2 could have some sport of cosmic basketball significance that we plebeians still have not figured out. One thing is for certain: Sharpe’s coworker on Undisputed is Skip Bayless, who has been a notable prick always finding ways to discredit James.
All joking aside, James appears to just be gearing up for the postseason. He’s attempting to show the world, and his team, that no one will be able to stop him once the playoffs start.
James is on a mission, and he is certainly showing up over the last few games.
