Who is the best player in the NBA right now? Is it LeBron James or is it Stephen Curry (It’s LeBron James)?
Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton, a big Curry supporter, went on WFNZ-AM’s radio show called “The Mac Attack” where he discussed the highly-debated topic. For someone who supports Curry, his answer may surprise you.

“A person asked me, ‘Well, is Steph Curry the best basketball player on the planet?'” Newton said. “I said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Steph Curry is the best basketball player on the best team on the planet.’
“I still think LeBron is [the best player]. He’s 6-7, athletic, can do anything on the court. But LeBron is not on the best team. Going back to what I was saying, the power of team will always be better than the power of skill.”
So far in these NBA Finals, both teams have had great moments as well as very horrible moments. The Cavs are looking to tie the series up at two games apiece on Friday night. One thing is sure, however, LeBron James has vastly outplayed the unanimous MVP of the regular season Stephen Curry and will have to keep doing so for the Cavs to win this series.
